Chennai Crowd proved it again...

Chennai crowd has proved it again that they are the most knowledgeable crowd in India. I'm really proud of them.

No other state can match Chennai crowd in terms of encouraging the talent wherever it is.
They love the game, they applaud, appreciate and give standing ovation to any player who plays well even if their favorite side is losing.

We can't forget the standing ovation given by the same Chennai crowd to Saeed Anwar who scored 194, a record in one day cricket and still unbeaten. I was really upset when Anwar was scoring in that match and starting scolding the bowlers Kumble, Prasad etc. who had let him score so much but once when I the saw the standing ovation given by the crowd my mind changed and I cooled down myself. Anwar is still one of the dangerous batsmen in Cricket.

Every team who had played in Chennai had never missed to appreciate the sporting crowd of Chennai and entertained them.

Cricket is just a sports and not a war. I hope in every other state the crowd should try to be smart and entertaining crowds rather than targeting the opponent players which really gives a bad impression about India.

Vasanth=> As sathi said, Chennai crowd is the best in India. No need of any proof to say that, history says it. Hope u wouldn't have seen this match, Shewag hitting 90 not out and finishing the match in quick fashion. In that match Shewag played a superb innings, and when he reached 50 -> he raised his bat to the crowd and was surprised by the pin-drop silence from them. He was asking the whole crowd in Gesture like "what happened to u all?", "aren't u the people who cheered me when i hit 100's and 200's?", "aren't u forgetting that i am an Indian?". But still the crowd was very silent. Even the commentators (some foreign men, forgot his name) was surprised and infact laughed at our Indian crowd. Its a shame for us :-( I think our India is becoming - mumbai, delhi, punjab, kolkatta seperately..... :-( Its like the famous tamil saying "ooru rendu patta koothadikku kondattam".

The same Indian crowd..... i think yesterday match was between Deccan Chargers (Hyderabad) Vs Mumbai Indians held in Mumbai.

You know what happened, Gilchrist played a marvellous innings and Hyderabad won with 10 wickets and with very high run rate. And for every four and six, Gilchrist hit -> the mumbai crowd was dancing and cheering, even though their Home team was loosing very very badly.
On the contrary, when Laxman hit fours -> there was pin drop silence :-( i think u both know what is the class of Laxman and how wonderful it will be to watch Laxman's fours. So deligant and superb timing + most importantly WRISTY.

I dont know why our Indians are acting like this on our own Heros of Indian Cricket. At the same time, cheering the Foreign Hero or Legend. Hope they forgot, how they prayed to God and wished Gilchrist would be back to pavillion soon in India Vs Australia matches.....!!!
